Lived in Eloy in late 30' to 60's, lived 5 houses west of the John Dollarhide family, my father, Gene Meadows went wild pig hunting with John in Picacho Mts. They were good friends.....Any one else from Eloy from late 30's to 60's ?

What a wonderful site! Love it! I love my name, Dollarhide too. I see my aunt Geniva left a message below. I'm a descendant of Martin D Dollarhide of Oklahoma. He had a brother named Albert and one named Carl, who also had a son named Carl who's picture is posted here and did tons of research and wrote a book on Dollarhides, which I'm fortunate enough to have. Grampa $hide also had a neat, neat, neat sister named Kate. One of my favorite great aunts. Uncle Albert was one of my favorite great uncles too. He lived to be over ninety years of age. Wow! I just came across this site and I think its just awesome. I didnt realize how many Dollarhides there are. I work in a bank and everyone always asks me about my last name.
